Entitlement Distribution

• Applicable scenarios:

  Distributors distribute software online to lower-level partners or end customers in their transaction routes. In this way, lower-level resellers or end customers can enjoy the rights to manage software licenses online.

  Note: Group-based entitlement distribution is supported on ESDP. For details, see Group-based Entitlement Distribution.

• Business rules:

1. In a sales chain, entitlement issuing is only allowed once for the same partner.

2. For multiple entitlements issued at the same time, all the entitlements must come from the same contract and the receiving company must be the same.

• Procedure:

  Step 1: Enter search criteria such as contract No. and click Search.

  Path: Entitlement Management > My Entitlements >To be Distributed

  

  Step 2: Select several entitlements and click Distribute Selected. To issue all entitlements, click Distribute All. To issue a single entitlement, click Distribute in the Operation column.

  

  Step 3: Enter the recipient company information and click OK. The information in the box marked with * is required.
